Eine Sommerlobelie mal ganz anders! Rosa, rot und scharlachrote Blüten auf grünem oder bronze-rotem Blätterwerk. Ihre einheitliche, kompakte Eigenschaft macht diese Pflanze mit ihren vielen Blüten zu einem Erfolg in Rabatten, Behältern und Blumenbeeten. Blüht im Sommer. Höhe 50-60cm.

Sow on the surface of a good free draining seed compost in February/March, the earlier the better. Make sure that the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag after sowing. Germination usually takes 14-21 days at 18-20C (65-70F). Don't exclude light which is beneficial to germination.

Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) and grow cool and well lit. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost 30cm (12in) apart in rich moist soil in a sheltered spot in sun or part shade.
