Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 55-60F (13-15C). Sowing Depth: ¼in (6mm). Sow from September to March. Soak for 12 hours before sowing, then seal in a polythene bag and place in darkness until germination which can take 30 + days. Do not exceed the stated temperature.`

Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Pot up as required.

Grow through summer in a shaded, ventilated area and keep at 10C (50F) during autumn/winter. For windowsill plants grow cool with plenty of fresh air.
