Explosive Einjährige, die Blumenbeete, Rabatten und Kübel mit ihren faszinierenden, glockenförmigen, scharlachroten Blüten in Schwung bringen. Freiblühend und kompakt blühen sie vom Sommer bis in den Herbst. Matchless gibt auch als Zimmerpflanze ein hübsches Bild ab.

Sow February to March. Place seed on the surface of a good seed compost and cover with a sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag at 20-25C (68-77F) until after germination which takes 7 to 21 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination.

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into trays or 7.5cm (3 inch) pots. Grow on in cooler conditions for 10 to 15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12 inches) apart.
