Sie ist in ihrer Erscheinung tropisch und bevorzugt einen sonningen, beschützten Platz. Blüht später als viele andere Sorten. Braucht Winterschutz.

Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25C (70-75F). Surface sow on a peat/sand mix seed compost and do not exclude light. Sowing Time: February to March. Germination usually takes 14-30 days.

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Acclimatise young plants to outdoor conditions before planting out 30cm (12in) apart.

Prefers a moist, well drained soil. For best results, plant in light shade.
