Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 60-65F (15-18C). Sowing Depth: ¼in (6mm). Sowing Time: February to March. The seed can also be sown outdoors where it is to flower in mid spring.

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Acclimatise young plants to outdoor conditions before planting out 60cm (24in) apart in full sun.
