Cordon (Indeterminate). A new larger fruited Sungold - Very heavy cropper - As uniform as a Hybrid! - Delicious sweet flavour. T&M are delighted to bring you a real breakthrough in Tomatoes. A dedicated T&M customer from Norfolk, spent several years in breeding this cross between Sungold and a larger fruited, orange skinned heirloom favourite. Sungella produces a huge yield of orange skinned, golf ball sized fruits. Each fruit has a sweet juicy taste, with low acidity, as you would expect from its parentage. Long trusses with masses of hybrid quality fruit, ideal for a complete season's picking. Like its parents it grows equally well under glass as it does outside. Grow as a Cordon or Indeterminate.

Sowing Instructions

Sow thinly on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Lightly cover the seed with vermiculite 6mm (¼in) deep. Place in a propagator at 18-20C (64-68F) until germination, usually 7-14 days.

Aftercare

FOR INDOOR CROPS Plant finally into growbags or pots in the greenhouse.

FOR OUTDOOR CROPS Acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions for a few days before planting in a sunny, moist, fertile, well drained site. Removal of main growing tip in late summer will hasten ripening.
