Description
Dwarf, compact plants which have plenty of strong side shoots and many rich golden-yellow blooms, each with a deep chocolate central cone. Early to flower over a long period and looking great in all types of weather. An ideal candidate for containers, bedding or grown in groups in the border. Flowers summer. Height: 25cm (10in).
Sowing Instructions
Sow from February to late March 1.5mm (1/16in) deep in a good seed compost. Make sure the compost is moist but not wet and seal inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 5-21 days at 21C (70F).
Growing Instructions
Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost. Plant 30cm (12in) apart in full sun and ordinary well drained garden soil. |
