The first ever F2 mixture of Fuchsias from seed! That means high quality plants at low cost. Your seed has been formula blended to guarantee a kaleidoscopic display of colour in baskets, patio containers, windowboxes and borders. Germination is high and easily achieved, producing well branched plants with self cleaning pendulous, single and semi-double flowers, most of which are bicoloured. Flowers summer. Height 45-60cm (18-24in).

Sow from Early February to mid August at 15-20C (60-70F) in a good fine and humid seed compost. Sow on the surface or just cover the seed with Sow-Lite (vermiculite) and seal in a polythene bag. Germination takes 14-40 days.

Transplant into 7.5cm (3in) pots when large enough to handle and grow on in cooler conditions. Pinch out the growing point after the 6th or 7th leaf pair. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost 30cm (12in) apart in a sunny spot on light well drained soil.

Can also be used for hanging baskets, window boxes or for windowsill pot plants.
