Description
Long stemmed, long lasting blooms 8-9cm (3-3½in) across, 10-20 per plant with fresh blooms overlapping to hide those fading. Ideal for cutting as well as making a bright addition to beds, borders, etc. An outstanding very long flowering garden plant for a sunny spot.
Sowing Instructions
Sow from late winter to early summer 1.5mm (1/16in) deep in John Innes Seed Compost. Make sure that the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 5-21 days at 21C (70F).
Growing Instructions
Transplant when large enough to handle into 8cm (3in) pots and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart in a sunny spot in well drained soil. |
