Description
An all encompassing mixture of easy to grow Gourds: small, large, pure colours, striped, mottled - every shape and colour imaginable. Superb autumn decorations when few fresh flowers are available. Non edible trailer. Harvest early autumn.
Sowing Instructions
Sow in early spring 6mm (¼in) deep in a good compost. Make sure that the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-14 days at 24-27C (75-80F).
Growing Instructions
Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost 60cm (24in) apart.
Aftercare Instructions
They prefer a well sheltered spot in deep rich soil but will grow well in most parts of the garden.
