As desirable and as lovely as any lupin could be. A tall, branching plant with white, gold, bronze and azure blue flowers rising in ascending tiers above blue-green foliage. It is excellent for cutting, fragrant and spectacular when grown in groups of five or more plants. It MUST be direct sown where it is to flower and germinates freely. Height 90-105cm (3-3½ft).
Sowing Time: March to May, where it is to flower. Sow seeds sparingly, 6mm (¼in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart in well-cultivated soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Seedlings should not require thinning. Optimum Germination Temperature: 65-85F (18-30C). Seedlings should emerge within 18-21 days.
Water ground regularly, especially in dry periods.
