Description
New 2008 Wow! This unique bicolour flower has three orange lower petals and two icy white upper petals with an orange picotee edge and intense orange reverse. Bushy free-flowering plants create long flowering, eye-catching displays in borders or containers.Height: 30-35cm (12-14in).
Sowing Instructions
Sow mid January to mid March. Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays, and cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or warm place, and keep at a constant temperature of between 20-25C (68-77F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 3-21 days.
Growing Instructions
When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost into hanging baskets or containers spaced 10-15cm (4-6in) apart.
Aftercare Instructions
For best results, provide a light, well-drained soil in full sun. |
