A skilfully chosen mixture of conifers to provide weeping pyramidal, horizontal, spreading and other types of growth, all fascinating subjects for Bonsai. Selection and number of seeds will depend entirely on crop availability.
Sow late winter to late spring in good free draining seed compost just covering the seed. Germination can be slow. Alternatively seal in a polythene bag after sowing and leave in a refrigerator (3-5c) for 3-4 weeks then place in warmth 18-21C (65-70F). Inspect regularly and remove if any start to germinate in the fridge. Different types will germinate at different times.
Bonsai subjects are hardy and need to be grown in cool fresh well lit surroundings but with some shade in the summer to prevent the pots from drying out. Full instructions enclosed.
