Description
New 2008 A well named variety because of its refreshingly juicy and sweet, delicious flavour. The creamy-yellow tapering, blunt ended roots attain a length of 10-15cm (4-6in) and have a beautiful flesh colour when cut in slices or cubes, making it ideal for snacking or added to salads.
Sowing Instructions
Sow April to June. Sow thinly, 1cm (½in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart.
Growing Instructions
Thin seedlings carefully when large enough to handle to reduce risk of carrot root fly attacks, and cover later sowings with netting or fleece. Keep well watered for best quality roots. Grow Spring Onion White Lisbon next to carrots as the smell helps deter Carrot Fly.
Aftercare Instructions
Lift and store unblemished roots in late Autumnl. |
