Description

An all female type producing quality, long, dark green bitter free fruits, in the greenhouse. Powdery Mildew tolerant and Cladosporium (leaf mould) resistant.

Bred to give increased Hybrid vigour, garden performance and flavour, thus increasing your harvest. Due to their wide ranging pest and disease resistance, there will be no need for the use of chemicals.

Sowing Instructions

Sow singly from late winter onwards 1cm (½in) deep in 7.5cm (3in) pots of moist compost. Germination usually takes 7-10 days at 24-27C (75-80F).

Aftercare

Train up the main shoot to top of wire and then pinch out the growing point and allow two shoots to trail downwards. Keep moist but not wet, apply shading as required and provide a moist, warm atmosphere. Regular picking will encourage fruiting. Under stress conditions, male flowers may be produced and these should be removed.

Nutritional Information

Cucumbers are 96% water, low in calories but high in potassium. Avoid peeling as the dark green skin is rich in carotenoid antioxidants.
