Sprinkle a bit of love and happiness in your garden this summer with these delightful annuals. Delicately fluted petals, awash with fruity shades of red and yellow. Very easy to grow direct into the soil, in beds, borders or containers. Height: 20-25cm (8-10in).

Sow March to May outdoors where they are to flower. Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing. Sow 1.5mm (1/16in) deep, in rows 30cm (12 inches) apart.

For spring/summer flowering pot plants sow in a cool greenhouse/conservatory during September or October. Grow cool in full light and water sparingly over the winter months.

When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 15cm (6 inches) apart.
