Description
Masses of chalice-like, silky flowers in shades of sun-rich orange. They make a dazzling display, especially when naturalised and allowed to self-sow. Height: 25-30cm (10-12in).
Sowing Instructions
Sow thinly, 6mm (¼in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart in well cultivated soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Thin out seedlings to 15cm (6in) apart. For Spring/Summer Flowering Pot Plants: Sow in a cool greenhouse or conservatory at 15-18C (60-65F) in the previous late summer/early autumn. Germination takes 14-21 days.
Growing Instructions
Grow cool in full light and water sparingly. Plant out in spring after all risk of frost. |
