Description
Rich variety of prolific, continuous 5-6cm (2-2½:in) flowers of indigo, maroon, white and mauve. Climbs to 240-300cm (8-10ft).
Sowing Instructions
Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 20-30°C (70-85F). Sowing Depth: 6mm (¼in). Sowing Time: February to May. Soak seeds in hand hot water for 2 hours, if the seeds are large they can first be lightly filed at one point on the seed before soaking.
Growing Instructions
Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Harden off and plant out when all risk of frost has passed.
Aftercare Instructions
Protect in severe weather with a covering of leaf mould, etc. Prefers a well drained soil. Can also be grown in a 25-30cm (10-12in) pot in a cool greenhouse or conservatory.
