Description
Breath-taking effects can be achieved when planted en-masse, Ruby Flax boasts neatly stout plants, with dozens of scarlet blooms throughout summer. Ideal for the cottage garden, where it can be effectively planted in drifts.
Sowing Instructions
Sow in spring outdoors where they are to flower. Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing. Sow 3mm (1/8in) deep in rows 30cm (12in) apart. Germination usually takes approximately 19 days.
Growing Instructions
When large enough to handle thin out to 15cm (6in) apart.
Aftercare Instructions
They prefer a sunny open site and light reasonably rich soil but will grow in most sites and soils. |
