A breakthrough variety with impressive resistance to all current forms of troublesome mildew. Heavy crops of dark green, upright leaves are produced, and are perfect for steaming or for use as a 'baby leaf' in salads. Sow in patio containers for use as 'baby leaf' greens.
Sow March to June, and September to October, thinly, 1cm (½ inch) deep in broad drills 30cm (12 inches) apart.
Harvest leaves autumn and spring as required, picking only a few from each plant.

SERVING SUGGESTION The flavour of spinach can be brought out perfectly when the cooked leaves are seasoned with nutmeg, pepper and sugar.
