Description
Erect flowering spikes. More compact ornamental foliage making an ideal cut flower.
Sowing Instructions
Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 65-70F (18-20C). Sowing Depth: ¼ Inch (6 mm). Sowing Time: February to July. Use a soilless compost and seal in a polythene bag after sowing to keep the moisture constant.
Growing Instructions
Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Move from cold frame to a nursery bed and grow on for 1-2 years and then plant out in final positions. Space the plants 60cm (24in) apart.
Aftercare Instructions
Plant in full sun or part shade. Prefers a rich, light, well drained soil. |
