Description
Free flowering, indispensible border plant, with flat, platelike 4-6in mustard yellow flower heads of easy culture and ideal for mixed borders or cutting. The flat flower heads can also be dried and used as "everlastings". Flowers mid to late summer. Height: 5ft.
Sowing Instructions
Sow on the surface of the compost from late winter to spring in John Innes Seed Compost. Make sure that the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 7-21 days at 20-24C (68-75F). Do not exclude light which is beneficial to germination.
Growing Instructions
Transplant when large enough to handle into 8cm (3in) pots. Later plant out 60cm (24in) apart into any well drained soil in full sun. |
