Description
A favourite with flower arrangers. Large and prolific grey/green foilage topped by huge spreading heads of tiny star-like straw textured yellow flowers in multiple clusters. Hardy, easy to grow and ideal for ground cover too, thriving in sun or part shade and in moist soils. Flowers early summer. Height: 60cm (24in).
Sowing Instructions
Sow in spring 3mm (1/8in) deep in a good free draining seed compost. Make sure that the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 21-30 days at 16-20C (60-70F).
Growing Instructions
Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots or boxes and grow on cool. Later plant out 38cm (15in) apart into ordinary garden soil in full sun. |
