Description
Towering but sturdy spires, excellent for border or focal point plantings. Height: 120-180cm (4-6ft).
Sowing Instructions
Sowing Time: February to July. Germination can be slow. After sowing, seal the seed container in a polythene bag and leave at 75-80F (25-27C) for 5-6 weeks, then transfer to a refrigerator (not freezer) for 3 months before returning to warmth. If the seeds show signs of germinating while in the fridge, remove immediately.
Growing Instructions
Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Grow on in a cold frame and plant out the following spring. Space the plants 90cm (3ft) apart in full sun.

Prefers a well drained soil. |
