The first ever F1 Hybrid Foxglove! Spectacular plants that reliably flower in the first year, with another heavy flush of flowers in the second year. Uniform plants with high quality flower spikes in a rich carousel of colour as the speckled, jewel-like blooms open all around the stout stems, giving more impact than ever before! Ideal for shady beds and borders. Prefers any well-drained soil in part shade.

Height: 90-120cm (3-4ft).

Sow April to June. Place seed on the surface of a good free draining compost and cover with a sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Seal container inside a polythene bag and place at 15-20C (59-68F) until after germination which usually takes 14 to 30 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination.

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into pots. Grow on in cooler conditions for 10 to 15 days before planting out after risk of frost, 60cm (24 inches) apart.

Always ensure good drainage, mulch with compost in autumn. Plants will prove hardy if wet winter conditions are avoided.
