Description

Valerian is known as heal-all, the Latin word valere meaning to be well. It was used widely in medieval times to induce sleep, as it is a powerful sedative. It was also used as a condiment and in perfume. Today its use is limited except as a decorative garden plant and is beloved by bees and butterflies. A beautiful border plant beloved by bees and butterflies. Plants are lightly fragrant, long flowering and may also be used as a cut flower. Bath: A valerian bath is very soothing but it has a bitter scent.

Each SeedPotT Greetings Card has a transparent resealable pot which keeps your seeds in the best possible condition. They contain seeds which transform into the flower on the front of the card. Follow the sowing instructions carefully and watch them grow over time into a unique and colourful expression of natural beauty.
