Sundry
Description
With plenty of room, sunflowers grow up to three metres tall, with huge yellow flowers in the summer. Instructions: Sow early spring to early summer outdoors in a sunny spot with lots of room. Prepare the ground well by raking out all the lumpy soil. Plant seeds 12mm deep, in rows 45cm apart. For really giant sunflowers, first sow them indoors in late winter/early spring, in separate 7.5cm pots at about 15-18°C. Give them plenty of light, and transfer to the garden when all risk of frost has passed. The tallest Sunflower ever grown was 7 metres tall. Sales of this product support the Natural History Museum. Each SeedPotT Greetings Card has a transparent resealable pot which keeps your seeds in the best possible condition. They contain seeds which transform into the flower on the front of the card. Follow the sowing instructions carefully and watch them grow over time into a unique and colourful expression of natural beauty. |
