Excellent dual purpose variety, particularly for solid miniature heads when planted closely, or for a snow white larger head at wider spacing. Vigorous, upright habit, producing quality heads which stand well in good condition. Suitable for close spacing to produce miniature heads.
Sow February to May or October overwintered in coldframes. Sow in individual pots or a seedtray of good seed compost and cover with 6mm (¼in) of compost or vermiculite, at a minimum of 15C (60F), until germination which takes around 7 days. Alternatively, can be sown thinly in a prepared seedbed 13mm (½in) deep, allowing 30cm (12in) between rows.
Cauliflowers are a good source of Vitamin C and are low in calories, making them a healthy diet snack.
Sweet flavoured eaten raw in dips or as a steamed vegetable.
