T&M have selected three of the most gorgeous and detectable Black-Eyed Susans; orange, vanilla and pure white, all with a dark beauty spot. Separately packaged, they enable you to plan their situation: twining around hanging basket chains, climbing container obelisks or intermingling with other plants. Flowers summer. Climber.
Sow early spring in a greenhouse or propagator at 21-24C (70-75F) in a good seed compost when germination takes 14-21 days. Sow two or three seeds to a 7.5cm (3in) pot, just cover the seed with sowlite/vermiculite and pot up finally into 15-18cm (6-7in) pots or hanging baskets etc.
A mid summer sowing will produce winter/spring flowering plants in the cool greenhouse.
