A well named variety because of its refreshingly juicy and sweet, delicious flavour. The creamy-yellow tapering, blunt ended roots attain a length of 10-15cm (4-6in) and have a beautiful flesh colour when cut in slices or cubes, making it ideal for snacking or added to salads.
Sow April to June. Sow thinly, 1cm (½in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart.
