Sow Mid Jan to Mid March, in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 75-80F (25-27C). Sow in well drained compost, just covering the seed with compost, but do not exclude light, which is beneficial to germination. Needs fluctuating temperatures to geminate well. Ensure that the temperature drops at night by sowing as early as possible in the season.
