A British bred, Annual Purple Sprouting Broccoli for picking from June to winter, if sown in succession from spring onwards. A heavy yield of juicy tender stems can be picked from each plant over a 6 week period. The nutty sweet flavour and colour is best utilised in a wok as a stir fry vegetable or as a healthy raw salad ingredient.
Sow in succession from March to June. Sow thinly in a well prepared seedbed, 1cm (½in) deep successionally.
Prefers a moist, rich, well drained soil.
