An impressive debut for beds and borders, this unique new plant was awarded a Fleuroselect Gold Medal. The unusual blooms with central green cones and bright orange petals radiating back to lemon yellow, make dazzling cut flowers.
Sow February to March at 20-25C (68-77F) on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Apply a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days. Do not exclude light at any stage, as this helps germination.
Prefers a well drained soil in full sun. Flowers late summer to autumn.
