Very early, uniform, high quality pepper with an excellent sweet flavour that does not 'repeat' on eating. Fruits up to 25cm (10in) in length, are green turning yellow. Excellent sliced and grilled or used stuffed, stir fried or in salads.
Sow March to early April. Germinate at 20-30C (68-86F) on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Apply a fine sprinkling of vermiculite, just covering the seed. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 7-14 days.
Prefers a moist, rich, well drained soil in warm conditions.
