Une plante incroyablement belle pour l'arrière de vos bordures. Elle n'a quasiment jamais besoin de tuteurs, et ses fleurs durent très longtemps.

Sow April to May at 20-30C (68-86F) on the surface of a good free-draining, damp seed compost. Cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 14-30 days. Do not exclude light at any stage as this is beneficial to germination.

Pricking out (Transplanting): Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Planting out: Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before planting out after all risk of frost 60cm (24in) apart. Prefers a well drained soil in full sun.

Remove faded flower spikes regularly.
