Jusqu'à ces derniers temps, cette plante était bien peu répandue dans les jardins européens. On l'appelle aussi « soleil de Californie ». Elle produit une abondance de fleurs de presque 8 cm dans une riche palette de jaune d'or, d'orange et de jaune. Elle aime la chaleur, et égayera agréablement votre jardin du milieu de l'été aux premières gelées.

Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 70-75F (20-25C).

Sowing Depth: Sow in well drained compost, just covering the seed with compost, but do not exclude light, which is beneficial to germination.
