A stunning discovery in a T&M customer's garden brings us this spectacular annual poppy. Fully double blooms in a fashionable blushed-lilac shade stand above strong stems of silver-green foliage. Easy to grow, ideal for sowing in small drifts to add a touch of class to your borders.
Named after the customer's aunt who was known as Violetta by her grandchildren.
Height: 60-90cm (24-36 inches)
Sow seeds March to April, thinly, 3mm (1/8in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart in well-cultivated soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Water ground regularly, especially in dry periods. Can also be sown outdoors in August to September for early summer flowering next year.
