Une giroflée polyvalente très étonnante. Plante naine buissonneuse dont les fleurs aux multiples couleurs apparaissent seulement 10 semaines après le semis. Idéal à semer successivement, dégage un délicieux parfum aux déploiements printaniers ou automnales en bordures ou bacs.

Sow seed on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp, seed or multipurpose compost and lightly cover with a sprinkling of vermiculite. Place container in a propagator or seal inside a polythene bag and place at 15-20C (59-68F) until after germination which usually takes 7-21 days.

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into trays or 7.5cm (3in) pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart.

Note: Plants can be selected for doubleness. Place seedlings for a few days at 5C (40F) and the seedlings will change colour, only transplant yellow-green/palest seedlings as these will produce 100% double flowers.
