Petites fleurs de phlox de 1,2cm, blanches et marron qui s'ouvrent en fin d'aprés-midi, relâchant un parfum aussi pénétrant qu'agréable. A cultiver en groupes pour tirer partie de son parfum.

Sow in a good seed compost 1.5mm (1/16in) deep in early spring. Germination takes 7-14 days at 15-18C (60-65F). Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle into boxes or singly into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Grow at around 10-13C (50-55F). Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions and plant out in spring after all risk of frost has gone, 15cm (6in) apart. They prefer an open sunny position and will grow well on most soils. Pot a few seedlings to make charming summer flowering pot plants too. Alternatively sow outdoors where they are to flower in late spring in drills 3mm (1/8in) deep and thin the seedlings out to 15cm (6in).
